Me llamo Lola, tengo 15 años, vivo en Murcia (una ciudad al sureste de España) y a finales de agosto voy a comenzar una gran aventura, vivir en Taiwan; es una gran oportunidad gracias a Rotary. Todo empezó el año pasado cuando una amiga de mis padres nos ofreció acoger a una estudiante de intercambio durante 6 meses y fue una experiencia fantástica, gracias a ella hice un intercambio corto en verano con una chica de su pueblo, me gustó tanto la experiencia que decidí enviar mi solicitud para un intercambio largo en EEUU pero me quedé sin plazas y como segunda opción escogí Taiwan. Estoy muy contenta, aprenderé chino, haré nuevos amigos y conoceré una cultura diferente.
My name is Lola, I'm 15 years old, I live in Murcia (a city in the southeast of Spain) and in August I will start my adventure, I will live in Taiwan; It's a great opportunity thanks to Rotary club. Everything started last year when a friend of my parents offered us to host an American exchange student, it was a fantastic experience, she helped me to make a short exchange in summer with a girl of her town, I really liked it so I decided to fill the documents to go to a long exchange in USA but there was no place for me, then choose Taiwan. I'm very happy, I will learn Chinese, I will make new friend and I will know a different culture.
