¡I've been 5 days in Taiwan! Since I arrived, time has gone so fast. Finally I have a chinese name:林雨柔 (Línyǔróu).

Aterrizamos el 21 a medio día con otros dos estudiantes de intercambio italianos que conocimos en el trasbordo en Dubai y allí estaban mi primera y tercera familia de acogida y mi tutor de rotary con carteles y un ramo de flores (son suuuper adorables), al principio me sentía como abrumada porque todo era diferente, hablaban en chino y me miraban como esperando a que dijera algo pero cuando me quede a solas con la familia todo fue mejor. Esa noche fuimos a cenar hot pot, tu mismo cocinas la comida en una olla con agua y vas comiendo, claramente para beber té, porque aquí hay tes para dar y regalar; después de la cena llegamos a casa e hicimos las típicas preguntas rotary (¿En qué tareas puedo ayudar?¿Qué cumpleaños celebra la familia?...), también les di los regalos. Por cierto, en mi familia son 5 personas: los padres, dos hermanas de 21 y 23 años (la mayor va a empezar a trabajar en Taipei en septiembre y la pequeña también estudia allí) y un chico de mi edad que está de intercambio en EEUU.
We arrived in Taipei on 21st afternoon with other two italian exchange student whose we met in Dubai, my first and third host family were there and my consultant with posters and flowers (they are adorable), at the beginning I didn't feel confortable because everything was different, they were speaking chinese and looking at me but after we left the airport everything went better. That night we ate hot pod, you cook the food yourself in the pot and you drink tea of course, here there are teas everywhere. After dinner I made the typical rotary questionnaire (How can I help you at home? When do you celebrate your birthday?...) I also gave them the presents. In my host family they are 5: the parents, two sisters of 21 and 23 (the oldest is going to start working in September and the youngest is studing in Tipei), and a guy of my age who is in USA.

Este día lo pasé con mi madre y sus amigas y por la noche cenamos en un restaurante con mi hermana y una amiga suya. En el restaurante usé por primera vez un baño público Taiwanés, esto no parece importante hasta que ves como son.
That day I was my mother and her friends and we had dinner with my sister and a friend. In the restaurant I first used a public taiwanese wc, this doesn't look important until you see how they are.

Era sábado así que vino Tammy (hermana mediana) a pasar el fin de semana con nosotros y fuimos a un centro comercial de Hsinchu y allí probé el famosísimo bubble tea, yummy yummy.
This saturday Tammy (the youngest sister) came to spend the day with us and then we went to a mall in Hsinchu and I tried the famous bubble tea, yummy yummy.

Siii, ya he ido a Taipei, por la mañana fuimos al Taipei 101 (rascacielos) que tiene el ascensor de pasajeros más rápido del mundo y es uno de los edificios más altos del mundo, con unas vistas impresionantes. Comimos allí y yo elegí un plato típico de Taiwan: beef noddles, por si alguien se lo pregunta, sí, comer noddles con caldo es difícil y yo me pringué. Después fuimos al teleférico de Maokong (Mao-gato, kong-montaña) que es de Hello Kitty y paseamos por allí, cenamos en un restaurante donde hacían todo con té, porque en esa montaña crecen hojas de té muy buenas.
Yeaaah I've gone to Taipei, in the morning we went to Taipei 101 (skyscraper) with the fastest elavator in the world and it is one of the highest buildings in the world with a wonderful view. We ate there, I chose a typical taiwanese dish: beef noddles, and yes, eat noddles soup with chopstyicks is really difficult. Then we went to the Maokong (Mao-cat, kong-mountain) cable car of hello kitty, we had dinner in a restaurant where they cook everything with tea leaves and in that mountain they have very good ones.

Por la mañana fuimos a rellenar documentos del banco y de la oficina de extranjeros y allí conocí a Rhain, el americano que también vive en Zhunan y por la tarde conocí a Laura, ella fue estudiante de intercambio hace dos años y está aquí pasando las vacaciones. Fuimos a cenar a un restaurante con estrella michelín dónde hacen una especie de raviolis hechos al vapor llamados Xiaolongbao, por el momento mi comida taiwanesa favorita.
That morning we went to fill some documents to the bank and the foreign office, there I knew Rhain, the american guy who lives in Zhunan too and after that I knew Laura, she was an exchange student two years ago and she is here in holidays. We went to Hsinchu to have dinner in a restaurant with one michelin star where they cook something like steamed raviolis, they are called Xiaolongbao, this is my favourite taiwanese food.

Esta mañana hemos ido a ver al director del colegio, me han enseñado el colegio y es grandísimo y con unos jardines verdes preciosos. Por la tarde mi madre, una estudiante de intercambio ucraniana llamada Julia de hace 4 años en Zhunan que ahora estudia aquí y yo hemos ido a casa de una amiga de Judy a tomar el té y luego Julia y yo hemos ido al centro a dar una vuelta, me ha dado consejos y me ha contado experiencias de su intercambio y también nos hemos pasado por el colegio y allí hemos hablado con unos chicos que me han pedido una foto (dice Julia que eso le pasaba todos los días y que en la ciudad todo el mundo sabía quien era y le saludaban como si fuera famosa) hemos cenado en un restaurante italiano con mis dos primeras madres y me ha regalado sus libros de chino y un libro de supervivencia para estudiantes de intercambio ¡Qué bonicaaa!
This morning we have gone to the school to see the principal, then they have showed me the school, it is so big with beautiful green gardens. After lunch my mother, an exchange student 4 years ago here in Zhunan who studies in Hsinchu, from Ukraine called Julia and I went to downtown, we talked about her exchange and she has given me some advices, we have also been in the school, we have speaked with some students and they have aked us for a photo (Julia says that this situation happen every day when she was here, everybody in the city know her and they said hello to her like a famous girl) We had dinner in an italian restaurant with my first and second host mothers and she gave me her chinese books and a survival exchange student guide ¡ She is so nice!
